My 400 series Roomba would not charge the battery. Did some testing on the main board and found that the U2 mosfet was not working. Ordered the parts from Roomba Shop and they delivered quickly and very reasonably priced. It took about 2 hours of my time (although I'd expect it would go much quicker the second time) and requires a fine soldering iron as well as a fine touch - these parts are tiny! BTW - for someone who has not worked much with soldering, I would seriously consider getting the replacement board instead of the U2/U4 components.
Roomba is back and running... thanks Roomba shop.
